Colourful kikoys with a conscience.

'Love the products and also the WHY of this wonderful company. Thrilled to have found you' - Jayne #BeBushbells
Bushbells: a purchase with a purpose

Our ethos is simple: we care about people, not profits. That's why our collection is as good for you as it is for the community from where it's made: Watamu, Kenya. Your purchase gives secure, ongoing employment to our team of four fabulous tailors, and provides the necessary revenue for us to continue building our schools and to support our various educational projects and breakfast club. Learn more about our work in Our Story.

We are on a mission to get people to buy less and buy better, and to consider what a product represents in terms of its social and environmental price.
Kikoys: the perfect lightweight travel companion

Kikoys were once used a trading currency along the East African coast, and today they are a true multitasking hero. Wear it as a sarong, skirt, head wrap or scarf; use it as a beach towel, light summer blanket or bed throw.
Our kikoy collection reflects the sunshine and colour of our own East African childhoods, and it is as timeless and versatile as its original namesake – designed for easy-to-wear comfort for young and old alike.
Available in stripes or blocks of solid colours – our kikoys are as unique as you are. Start your colourful kikoy journey today with Bushbells.
