We were so pleased to welcome Banda School back to Bluebells. Mum and I had visited my alma mater (the Banda) in Nairobi earlier in January, so it felt extra special to welcome them back to Bluebells school. A group of leavers came down over half term, bringing with them a generous donation of shoes (very gratefully received!) and support for the lunch fund.
The annual football match was, as always, highly competitive - with Bluebells taking the win this year! I’ll admit, I’m always a bit torn (Banda being my old school), but these days my heart is firmly with Bluebells.
We were also lucky to have Richard and George lead a brilliant IT workshop for staff, helping them make the most of the computers donated a few years ago. Thanks to a clever intranet system, their teaching resources should be greatly enhanced.

Huge thanks to everyone involved, including dear friend Sooz who is such a wonderful link (and former Banda-ite too). And yes… we all agreed, it was definitely worth postponing Valentine’s plans for!
