Big Cat Walk Charity Fashion Show!

Bushbells were once again delighted to support the annual St Cat's Fashion show in March by providing their colourful kikoy pull-ons and shorts for the girls and boys to wear. It's an important event in their school calendar and this year they were raising money for War Child and Afghan Connection.

Over the last four years St Catherine's have raised more than £13,000.00 which has gone towards helping their link schools, in Kenya and South Africa, and money has helped build new classrooms. Their money goes directly to the charities which provide an education for many children living on scarce resources.

This year's charity was organised by Phoebe O. Mrs Arrick from St Catherine's said,'without organisations like Bushbells to provide outfits for the catwalk we would not be able to raise the funds for our link overseas charities.

The boxes being sorted

Bushbells clothing is always popular with our girls, who find it comfortable and versatile as well as an attractive, colourful addition to their wardrobes! We would like to continue our association with Bushbells and hope that they will continue to support our events in future years".

More chairs and tables for Bushbell's school in Watamu have just been purchased, thanks to a kind donation from St Catherines School. Also, following on from a visit by one of our volunteers in February we have been able to sponsor John and Lydia's little brother - also thanks to the generosity of the girls at St Catherine's. So thank you St Cat's, and to all concerned for making the evening such a colourful and productive success!
