Been busy shopping and sorting and working out what fabrics to buy for the forthcoming season, and belts to be designed. Always a challenge, as the really bright fabrics we know you love are becoming harder to source, but we’ll never compromise on the quality we buy, even if it means less.
The biggest joy of being back in Watamu is seeing our team of wonderful, loyal tailors: Sammy, Lilian, Rahema and Ruth – who are all well. Again, we are so lucky with the most generous of friends, who allow the tailors to work in the safety and comfort of their own plot in Watamu. Our team of tailors are all SO efficient in their work and each have their different areas of expertise. Exciting news is that Rahema is having another baby in June – so more pitter patter of feet.
