As the school broke up on 1st April, for a well-earned three-week holiday, the school had a lovely end of term visit from my friend Iona. She somehow managed to squeeze it into her busy schedule - even though she was staying over an hour away.
Her two boys jumped straight into a game of football, and she had the full Bluebells tour - with singing and dancing.

We always love visitors at the school.
But I wanted to use this platform to give Iona a BIG SHOUT OUT for the incredible charity she runs, supporting homeless communities in Somerset and Dorset, providing meals and essential items to those who need them most.
If you’re local in Somerset / Dorset - DO get involved - whether it’s helping cook, distribute meals, or handing on any of your own personal home-furnishings that would give someone a new start in life: https://helpforhomeless.net/
Thank you Iona and her team for all the amazing work you do and for taking time out to visit our little set up in Watamu – She's an angel in disguise for sure.

Thank you so much for giving us a tour of your amazing and beautiful school. It was so lovely to meet all the staff and pupils who are all full of joy and are immensely proud of their school (as they should be). I hope to visit again in the future. A true gem in the beautiful country of Kenya. Thank you again for having us.

What a fantastic school. The kids were such fun and full of energy. Mr Paul was very inspiring and obviously loved by the children and the other staff members. My boys had a blast playing football with them. Very impressive facilities. Thankyou for showing us and making us feel so welcomed.
Two amazing women working to make the world a better place. The world needs more Jax and Ionas. xxx
