At the end of our time in Kenya, we headed up to Laikipia to visit Ol Gaboli - and what a place. We were keen to support our friend Ludo, who’s part of the new management team there, and it did not disappoint.

Set in a stunning landscape of open land and incredible diverse wildlife, Ol Gaboli is more than just being a fabulous 'safari' destination. It’s the only all-female, Maasai-owned lodge in Kenya, run by the Ol Gaboli Women’s Group. Under their leadership, the lodge is not only thriving but also supporting the wider community in meaningful ways -particularly when it comes to empowering women.
It’s simple, authentic, and full of heart. The guides are fantastic, the welcome is genuine, and if you’re very lucky… you might even spot Giza, a black leopard. We absolutely loved it. I HIGHLY recommend you put it on your 'must visit' list! . (https://www.olgaboli.com/
