Don’t you love throwing stones into the sea and seeing how many times they bounce?! And every time that stone skims the water, it creatives little ripples of circles. I love ripples, and how they expand and envelop and soon other drops of water get engulfed in happy, bubbling circles of joy! I call it the ripple effect! - and the same happens to us!
Back in May (see our blog post) a group of very keen cricketers went on tour to Grenada. Bushbells were very proud to have sponsored them with some of our fabulous, easy to wear beach shorts.
One of their barmy army supporters was Alastair D, who loved the shorts and ended up with 3 pairs! I heard from him again mid July, as he’d been swimming to raise money for the Rob Stephenson Trust.
He very kindly put Nicki Stephenson in touch with us, and they have very generously donated some sports equipment tp Bluebells School. As I explained to Nicki, the school is currently on holiday but the children will be SO excited to see this lovely surprise when they return early September.
The kit has arrived in Nairobi – taken out by a kind friend Gill B, and our trusted driver Stephen (seen here) collected the sports kit last week and it has safely been delivered to the school. I can’t wait for the next blog instalment – showing you the children’s reaction to this wonderful donation. Hugest thanks to Nicki, and all at the Rob Stephenson Trust. And the children at the school will certainly laugh and laugh some more when they play with this super kit, and learn new games. Keep on rippling……!
