Team Bushbells @ Beach clean up!

Team Bushbells were once again delighted to participate in Watamu's annual beach clean up. They were thrilled to have Volunteer Josh back in their midst helping them. Our tailors also took part and it was a great team effort. Their keen eyes and nimble hands filled many sacks with unwanted plastics and certainly emphasised the appalling impact that excess plastic has on our oceans and sea life.

Ruth and Rahema, two of our tailors helping with beach clean up day.
Mwana, our school principal, and Sammy, our head tailor, doing their bit for beach clean up.

The school is a rubbish free zone and the children take great pride in keeping their compound ship-shape and clean.

The Watamu Marine Association were delighted with Bluebells' help and support and a successful day was had by all! Bravo Bluebells and thank you all!

Bluebells children happy to be helping for beach clean up and getting their certificate!
