For just under a month, Bluebells School has been lucky enough to have not one, not two, but three wonderful volunteers – Isabella, Robyn and Mima.

Now, volunteering in Kenya doesn't just happen. It takes courage, commitment, and quite a lot of determination to make it happen. This year, these three ispent months planning, saving every penny they could, and working hard to make this adventure a reality. And we're thrilled they did !

From the moment they arrived, they threw themselves into school life with boundless enthusiasm, endless smiles and a real willingness to help wherever they were needed. There were bubbles to blow, games to play, stories to read, lessons to teach, posters to create, pom-poms to make, and countless moments of laughter shared with the children.

The impact they made went far beyond the activities themselves. They brought energy, kindness, confidence and joy—and those are gifts that stay with children long after the suitcases have been packed.

Of course, it wasn't all hard work! They also found time to enjoy a little Kenyan magic, with a relaxing massage here and there and a beautiful sunset cruise through the mangroves, and a visit to the snake farm (eek!!! all voluntary !!) 

To Isabella, Robyn and Mima: THANK YOU. On behalf of every child, every member of staff and everyone at Bluebells, thank you for giving your time, your enthusiasm and your hearts. You have each left your mark, and we hope this experience has left a little piece of Bluebells with you too.
